The Mountain Brook First Responders Foundation emerges as that beacon of hope, that lifeline, for our heroes during their trying moments.

Our First Responders

Mountain Brook is home to an extraordinary group of 64 fire/emergency first responders. But they’re not just firefighters. Each one is cross-trained as a paramedic, ensuring that our community receives comprehensive care during emergencies. Operating out of three strategically located stations, always ready to spring into action, Mountain Brook’s Fire & Rescue operates three engine trucks, including a state-of-the-art ladder truck, and three rescue ambulances — always geared up, always prepared.

The Mountain Brook Police Department prides itself on its robust law enforcement framework. With 67 dedicated officers, our streets are constantly under vigilant watch. MBPD is a tangible presence felt across our neighborhoods, especially in our schools where we have full-time security resource officers, with reserves ensuring we’re equipped to handle any situation.
